Experience an immersive adventure into nature restoration: Sea, Land, City is available to watch now on Waterbear!
The understanding that we humans are a part of nature, and dependent on it for our food, our economy and our wellbeing is starting to take hold – and many people and businesses are starting to explore ways to support nature’s recovery. Which is certainly vital in the UK – as we’re one of the most nature depleted countries on Earth!
But a hidden tool in the movement to restore our depleted natural world are Nature-Based Solutions – ways of supporting nature that help it’s recovery, whilst also benefiting people and making financial sense.
Originated by and co-produced with Wonderoom, ‘Sea, Land & City’ is a 25 minute adventure following Mairead Cahill as she explores a range of innovative projects supporting nature’s recovering in one region – the South West of England. It aims to make more visible and engaging the amazing work already underway by spotlighting the people and places already making a difference – to grow support and momentum around these win-win-win solutions.
Following a world premiere at Blue Earth Summit, the film has enjoyed a successful launch on Waterbear’s streaming platform with further screenings coming soon.
A huge thank you to The Crown Estate, Triodos Bank, Blue Marine Foundation, and the West of England Combined Authority for supporting this journey.
